IGS supports companies that aim for an Online Gaming NL License in the Netherlands. The new Dutch Betting and Gaming Act will be expected to be in force by mid 2018.
We support you to meet all license requirements. We co-operate in this field with one of the Big Four accountancy firms.
The Online Gaming NL Bill in the Netherlands states that every company that operates from an EU or EEA Member State can apply for a license. Also third country companies can apply if that country is on the EU list of countries that provide sufficient protection with regard to:
- The prevention of addiction;
- Consumer protection;
- The prevention of fraud and other crimes.
The Bill gives clarity on who can obtain a license. However, the Bill does not give clarity on the licensing requirements, such as operations, liability, prevention of problem gambling and professional qualities.
These requirements are at this moment (early 2015) elaborated by the Dutch government together with the Kansspelautoriteit (Ksa = Dutch Gaming Authority). IGS is monitoring this process conscientiously.
If you want to obtain an Online Gaming license in the Netherlands, IGS is your partner to achieve that goal.
